As a diabetic educator and Psychologist, Saad Shaheed holds the Diabetes Q&A Sessions on Treatment Hazards in Diabetes on every Friday.
Saad Shaheed is serving as the Director of Willing Ways Lahore since July, 2015. He has been associated with Willing Ways as a researcher and as a psychologist, Lahore since 2012. In 2014, he completed his MS in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore.
Saad has served as a trainee psychologist in Psychiatry Departments of Ganga Ram Hospital, Jinnah Hospital and at Mayo Hospital, Lahore. These training periods included assessment and management of psychological disorders. During his intensive trainings, he developed special interest in treating and managing psychological disorders with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and with Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. He also has profound interest in Humanistic Therapies as well with particular focus on Gestalt and Existential Therapy. He uses an eclectic approach in therapy to helping his clients and patients. In Willing Ways, Saad has been conducting individual sessions focusing on communication gaps. He has also been conducting group sessions on Smart Solutions here at Willing Ways.
His research experience includes work on Sources of Stress in University Teachers, and Anxiety in Children due to Parental Choices of Subjects. He has served as a writer in Beaconhouse National University’s Monthly Gazette. He is also in the editorial board of Willing Ways and works as a content creator on Willing Ways Website.
He is a Certified Hypnotherapist from The Institute of Mind Sciences, Karachi. He is also a Certified Basic Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programmer (NLP) from The National Federation of Neurolinguistic Programming, USA.
Saad hails from Peshawar. He likes to play table tennis and using his creative abilities on creating different content on Photoshop. He loves sufi music. He enjoys adventure travelling and scenic photography. He is an avid sports follower as well.
